Types of Massages
Stress Relief
Feel your body un-clench with the gliding motion of gentle Swedish Massage techniques. The amount of pressure is up to you! It can be soothing and light, comforting and firm, or somewhere in the middle.
Deep Tissue
Aka: "Search and Destroy". With the combination of Trigger Point Therapy and the use of deep pressure, this massage targets the deeper layers of your muscles to help take away the nagging pain from muscle tension and knots.
Pre/Post-Natal
A specialized massage targeting specific muscle groups for expecting or new moms. Massage is safe in all trimesters of pregnancy; modifications can be made if required.
TMJ Massage
Do you grind your teeth at night, or clench your jaw when you're stressed out? Temporal headaches, ringing in the ears, and pain in the jaw area may all be due to tightness in the muscles surrounding the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).
This massage may include techniques performed inside the mouth to access the medial and lateral pterygoids.
Table Thai Yoga Massage
Make sure you are wearing loose comfortable clothing for this massage. A combination of stretching and firm compression techniques are used to loosen muscle tension and improve flexibility.
Reflexology
More than just a foot rub. This massage is recommended for those who cannot receive massage to the rest of the body (due to sensitivity to pain) and may benefit from the reflex effects of pressing specific points on the feet to target specific areas in the body. It may also assist different organ systems in your body. Examples of what it may help with are digestive issues and headaches.
